About The Lodge
The Lodge at Manitowish Waters is the perfect retreat for your Northwoods getaway! Tucked away among the soaring pines in Northern Wisconsin, The Lodge is the ideal spot to get away from it all. Unplug and show your children that there's a whole new fabulous world beyond their cell phones and computers. Bring your team of professionals for an executive retreat or maybe just a girls weekend.
The Lodge has 19 luxury guest rooms and a premium apartment on site. In addition, off-site rentals include furnished homes and 2-3 bedroom condos on Rest Lake.
The Lodge is furnished with handsome Northwoods décor. Carefully chosen scenic prints and beautiful original oils are displayed throughout. Guest rooms are warm and inviting. Relaxing patios and comfortable gathering areas overlook the beautifully landscaped grounds. For those who prefer a little pampering, The Spa at Manitowish Waters is located adjacent to the main building and is available for an additional fee. Our friendly staff is at your service. Nathan Ochocinski, Manager
After earning his master's degree from University of Nevada Reno, the Minocqua native served as a resident hall director at Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn, New York. In 2023, his love for the outdoors drew him back to Wisconsin. Nathan is excited to call the Northwoods his home again.
Liz Uihlein, Owner
Growing up, Liz spent her summers in Northern Wisconsin, swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. Some of her fondest memories were made here. Liz and her husband Dick are ardent supporters of the community and happily call the Northwoods their "home away from home."
